Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Research and Policy Advocacy

Sound knowledge of MSME sector handled in terms of policy aspects, industry trends and future outlook. Ability to independently plan and execute following:

•        Ability to understand current issues and concern areas for industry and be able to evolve the “ CLIENT” position with inputs from office bearers and industry members.

•        Articulation of the same with policy makers with relevant facts and figures.

•        Undertake policy research and prepare policy advocacy content in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

•        Conduct research and create content for internal and external communication

•              Understand advanced contemporary business issues

•              Create white papers and reports

•              Understanding of MSME sector and prominent schemes of Union and State government will be an added advantage

•      Key interactions / decision with publishing houses and internal departments to ensure error free communication

•      Conduct, track and compile data from surveys or questionnaire regularly to produce high impact report analysis

•      Maintain a record of meetings and official communication.

•      Provide policy advice and technical assistance to Project Lead.

•.     High quality content development

Event Management

•              Preparation of background / concept note for event / activity.

•              Design of conference programme including identification of suggested resource persons like speakers, session moderators, topics, etc

•              To help bring new ideas and opportunities to “OUR CLIENT”

•              Track competitor activities and pulse of industry

•              Launch marketing campaigns

•              Organize and manage roadmap for Project/Programme.

•              Increase and manage promotions to increase participation in events

•              Identify sponsors and fund-raising programs

•    Meeting delegate/sponsorship targets.

•    Meeting Project/Programme timelines.

Membership Drive/Stakeholder Engagement

•      Increased membership engagement and involvement, networking with concerned Government officials and stakeholders from relevant institutions.

•      Knowledge of digital marketing and other Social media communication tools

•      CEO / senior management engagement

Increased membership engagement and involvement, networking with concerned Government officials and stakeholders from relevant institutions.

Project Management

•      Plan and execute work as per project objectives of multiple projects

•              Communicate with all stakeholders of multiple projects

•              Manage, control changes & adhere to budgets of multiple projects

•              Build and support the development of knowledge resources – Tool kits, information booklets and technology enable interactive project management tools

•              Knowledge of Google analytics and other such analytic platforms preferred

 Timely manage multiple projects around the related sector

Internal coordination

Internal coordination: Interdepartmental support and People management

 

·         Support other members of the department and other departments in “OUR CLIENT” which require sector specific support both in terms of content and programme delivery when required.

 

·         Support team members (if any) to achieve individual and departmental goals in terms of execution of work plan, member / industry / stakeholder engagement, government relations, policy advocacy, sponsorship and program, management.

 

Collaborative work done with regional offices in specific sectors or subjects with industry participation or Government partnership.

 

Extent of support extended to members of the department as well as other departments and offices within “OUR CLIENT” in India & abroad across sectors handled

 

Eligibility Criteria:

•              Educational Experience: M.A. in English, Economics or any other relevant field or MBA in Marketing.

•              Work Experience: 2-3 years in relevant field for Executive

•              Work Experience: 5-6 years in relevant field for Executive Officers 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

•     Knowledge of industry analysis, benchmarking, point of views, market intelligence, strategy formulation, etc.

•              Proficiency in MS Office applications is a must: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

•              Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

•              Ability to present information in a clear and concise format.

•              Excellent verbal and written communication skills
