Position: Program Manager
Organization: ISL
Project Management
1. Organising ISL’s programs and activities (including but not limited to the leadership camps, alumni ecosystem activities, new initiatives etc.) in accordance with the mission and goals of ISL.
2. Working with a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities to ensure various tasks are completed in a timely manner
3. Ensuring ISL’s goals are met in areas including student satisfaction, safety and quality
4. Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure ISL’s goals are achieved.
5. Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
6. Developing metrics to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Working on strategy with ISL’s senior leadership team
8. Developing new programs and initiatives to support the strategic direction of ISL.
9. Proactively contributing towards the long-term goals for ISL.
Operations
1. Developing a budget and operating plan for ISL camps and other initiatives.
2. Developing an in-depth understanding of the operations and logistics for ISL camps and other programmatic initiatives
3. Executing the operational and logistical elements of ISL camps including but not limited to admissions procedures for camps, venue operations, catering, delivery of pedagogy etc.
4. Maintaining records of operational elements in a thorough and organised manner
Partnerships and Outreach
1. Contributing towards developing a media plan to expand the profile and reach of the organisation and its brand in keeping with its mission and vision.
2. Maintaining existing relationships with partners by acting as a point of contact between ISL and the partner organisation
3. Understanding and assessing the landscape for ISL’s target audience of youth aged 14-19
4. Supporting ISL’s outreach to more young people by developing relationships with schools, NGOs, counsellors, student & parent groups etc
Key Qualifications & Experience:
● Experience, passion and curiosity for education and youth leadership development.
Professional Experience
○ Prior experience or strong inclination to work in the non-profit, social impact sector, preferably education
○ Prior experience working with adolescents in formal or informal settings.
○ Proven experience in program management.
○ Proven stakeholder management skills.
○ Proven experience managing a team.
○ Comfortable working existing and new technologies for program delivery
○ Understanding of project management.
○ Some teaching or facilitation experience is desirable.

Proximate Experience
○ Fluent in English and Hindi.
○ Strong understanding of Indian culture and regional differences is highly desirable.
○ Knowledge of additional Indian languages is an added bonus
Education
○ Bachelor's degree or master's degree in any discipline
