Position: District Project Coordinator

Qualifications:
• Post graduation in Public Health/Social Work / Health Management/ PG – Nursing / Development Studies and humanities/social sciences.
• More than 6 to 8 years of experience in the field of Reproductive and Sexual Health / Public Health/ Family Planning. Medical Graduates or candidates with MPH with 3-5 years of experience in family planning can also apply.
• Work experience in Family planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health is a must.
• Proven expertise in research, documentation, report writing, data analysis, and preparing case studies.
• Proven expertise building functional networks and in working with the district health system and other relevant government and non-government departments and private health care providers
• Experience in handling projects supported by an International organization / Bi-lateral agency at the district level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
• Candidates having work experience in multiple states in a rural area will have an advantage.
• Preference will be given to female candidates with good qualification and experience.
Job Description:
1. Assume overall responsibility for providing program management oversight and guidance to the district team under YUVAA and ensure effective and quality implementation of the project activities.
2. Handhold and assist the YUVAA district team to prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans.
3. Provide supportive supervision to the district team in the implementation of the work plans of YCs.
4. Work in close coordination with Dharma Life’s district team to provide onsite mentoring/support/ technical inputs to YCs and field activities and build the district team’s capacity for effective and improved decision making and project implementation at district level.
5. DPCs will be based at their respective assigned districts throughout the duration of the project.
6. Ensure regular coordination with State Project Coordinator and Team Leader, provide updates and seek support and guidance from time to time.
7. Support the Yuvaa corps to carry out their activities at the ground and prepare reports through regular follow up and technical assistance (FTA) for more than 20 days in a month.
8. Develop and maintain a feedback mechanism system to enhance the quality of work of the Yuvaa corps.
9. Attend training and meeting with the team of District project coordinators, Yuvaa Corps and representatives of Implementing Partners.
10. Liaison with the govt. departments at district level to keep the government stakeholders abreast of the project progress.
11. Assist the State Project Coordinator to organize review meetings at the district level and state level.
12. Prepare monthly project report (MPR) and submit it to State Project Coordinator.
13. Support the State Project Coordinator in finalizing the Compiles MPR and Quarterly progress report (QPR).
14. Document the case studies at par with the indicators, best practices.
15. In their respective districts, DPC will coordinate, supervise and monitor communication activities project's communication activities in consultation with the YUVAA communications team.
16. DPC will facilitate the signing of MOUs with the identified service providers/facilities.
17. Coordinate and oversee the functioning of referral networks with selected health care providers within the district by mapping/assessing potential service providers/facilities for FP (public and Private facilities).
18. Supervise the functioning of field-level referral networks established through implementing partners, including quality assurance in the service provision by the providers
19. Ensure smooth functioning of feedback mechanism – for service providers, collecting clients' feedback from YC/Client or the clinic.

Salary: Upto 6.96 Lacs / Annum (Depends on the Current / Last drawn CTC)
