Position: Communication and Marketing Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBITIES:
• Staying up to date with growers’ weekly crop estimates and request additional information when needed.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of sales, customer contacts/ feedback, personal timesheet, and other pertinent information as it arises
• Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
• Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.
• Produce valuable and engaging content for website and blog that attracts and converts target groups • Manage social media accounts
• Create ads for social media platforms and creating persona profiles from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other community engagement platforms
• Manage online marketing collateral including AdWords, email, banner creative, blogs, twitter, etc. • To help implement the organizations communication, documentation and information strategies.
• Develop different kind of quality documentations, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people’s lives throughout the projects implementation
• Produce case studies, best practices, field experiences, newsletter, e-bulletins and other advocacy materials
• To help implement the organizations communication, documentation and information strategies.
• Develop concept notes & proposals related to thematic areas
• Develop the various Monitoring and Evaluation Tools at all levels to assess the performance of the projects.
• Monitoring the core and performance indicators of the projects.
• Develop evaluation plan and conduct annual evaluation of the projects.
• Responsible for documentation and evaluation reports of midline and end line reviews
• Design and production of publications and various marketing collateral (incl. annual report, enewsletters, brochures and factsheets), this includes research, writing and editing (or liaising with outsiders on the same)
EXPERIENCE / POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Masters in Anthropology/Social Work / Social Sciences/ English Literature/ Development Studies/ International Relations/ Mass Communication/Marketing or any other relevant disciplines from recognized university
• 3-5 years’ work experience in communication / marketing and/or branding organic products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi;
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• Complete knowledge of the latest marketing techniques and developments
• Photoshop and/or multi-media design with Video and other interactive graphics systems a plus
• Good analytical, writing and verbal communication skills and Excellent inter-personable skills
• Presentation ability to convey company/product messaging and positioning through simple, effective style that is clear, fresh and concise
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML (WordPress, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute marketing plans and programs and manage campaign
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Self- Motivated and flexible to work.
