Position: Project Officer

Organization: Academy of Management Studies (AMS)

Location: Himachal Pradesh

Key Tasks

• Capacity building of the field team for implementing the project   
• Designing and managing large scale awareness programs for the farmers
• Training of the farmers for formation and capacity building of Water User Associations (WUAs)
• Briefing the senior govt. officials and other stakeholders about the progress of the project from time to time
• Any other task required for successful implementation of the project

Eligibility

• Post Graduate in Irrigation / Water Policy & Governance / Any other relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Job requires extensive travel upto village level in the project districts
• The selected candidate would be required to be stationed at district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh

Remuneration:It would be based on the qualification and experience of the candidate.

Appointment

This is a project-based position. The person will be appointed for the project duration of 1 year. It may be further increased or decreased, depending upon the performance of the candidate and organization’s requirement.
