Position: Leadership Development Program Manager

Role
» Consult with Lines of Business (LoBs), HR stakeholders and global Learning and Development team to assess training needs and appropriately plan design strategy, and assess overall effectiveness.and impact of learning
» Design global Leadership Development programs for MCO leaders and employees (e.g., core leadership programs, talent acceleration programs for diverse and high potential audiences, etc.) to support the successful implementation of business objectives and strengthen Moody’s talent pipeline
» Create engaging and enriching learning experiences that have a high degree of “stickiness” and applicability to participants’ role as Moody’s leaders
» Instructional design work includes establishing learning objectives and creating high-quality content to meet those learning objectives, utilizing a broad range of training modalities including classroom, in-person webinars, on-demand webinars, e-tutorials, and blended programs
» Manage end-to-end delivery of programs including project planning, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors, developing communications, program tracking, assessment and reporting
» Facilitate leadership development programs, presenting credibly to all participant levels, including senior-level audiences
» Apply subject matter knowledge to continously improve programs design
Key Responsibilities
» Work with key stakeholders and identify target audience’s training needs
» Develop positive relationships with L&D colleagues, Global Learning team members, and internal stakeholders (HR Regional/Talent Partners, HRIS, Corporate Communications, Legal, etc.) to deliver a best-in-class product
» Develop business success criteria and key metrics
» Articulate learning objectives and create content that matches them
» Develop exercises and activities that engage the learner and use supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) that enhance the learning process
» Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
» Assess learner’s performance and implement assessment instruments to measure and report on learning transfer
» Develop project plan, communications plan, stakeholder plan to effectively manage program delivery
Specialized Skills
» Extensive knowledge and experience in leadership development principles, practices and frameworks (e.g., Emotional Intelligence/EQ, GROW, Situational Leadership, continous feedback, etc.)
» The ability to design engaging modules using Microsoft PowerPoint
» The ability to distill data using Microsoft Excel and present analytics and insights using Microsoft PowerPoint
» Familiarity with Learning Management systems: CornerStone
Qualifications/Skills
» Bachelor's degree with qualifications in business, organizational psychology, instructional design, adult learning, multi-media technology (Master’s degree in business, HRD, OD or I/O preferred)
» 7-10 yrs experience in designing and managing leadership development programs, preferably in a Fortune 500, financial services or technology environment
» Knowledge of adult learning theoring, instructional theory, including assessments
» Program management experience designing, delivering and measuring the impact of leadership development curricula
» Experience faclitating leadership programs from new to mid- to senior level audiences, including high potential and talent acceleration programs; Experience in high potential DE&I leadership programs a plus
» Outstanding team collaboration and stakeholder management; experience working in a global team a plus
» Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence the adoption of new ideas
» Excellent project management and organizational skills
» Excellent written and oral communication skills
» Critical thinking skills
» Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines

The Global Learning and Development team includes a global team of 8 professionals that:
» Develop content and facilitate training sessions
» Design and create e-learning modules
» Drives knowledge transfer initiatives in support of MCO projects
» Partners with Line of Business (LoB) teams to assess and address emerging requirements
» Manages the Learning Management System (Knowledge Portal)
» Administers learning logistics (course set up, attendance tracking, reporting)
