Responsibilities
a. Mentorship Program Builder
– Understand the learning and capacity-building needs of both people looking to set up a new business and people looking to scale up an existing business, across the ‘maturation journey’ including idea identification, business plan creation, access to credit, enterprise setup support, and continuous learning and capacity building post enterprise setup.
– Identify suitable mentors, onboard and orient them, and organize mentorship sessions.
– Ability to solve problems like mentor-mentee matching, classify different mentorship needs and group entrepreneurs accordingly, and ensure that mentees are able to derive value while engaging the mentors in the process.
– Design a diverse set of mentorship sessions, covering different topics and learning needs of entrepreneurs working on different business ideas, speaking a different language, and coming from different regions.
– Bring standardization in terms of mentorship topics across different business ideas, ensure quality sessions, as well as record some common learning to be translated into videos and content for later viewing by entrepreneurs.
– Collect and improve via regular feedback and discussions with entrepreneurs
– Identify partners to scale the platform with a large number of quality mentors, for further platform development and overall growth of the mentorship platform for both individual and group-based entrepreneurship (SHGs/FPOs etc)
– Identify impact parameters, and measure the impact of such mentorship sessions.
b. TGIES Project Manager
– Research and identify successful traditional businesses in focus states of Mission Swavalamban,and reach out to them for sharing their success story.
– Interviewing the entrepreneurs having small/medium scale businesses and profiling their highs and lows
– Liaising with industry/business associations for partnerships and organizing round table conferences
– Developing various strategies/tools with the team and delivering them for evolving the overall TGIES project design.
Minimum skills and qualifications
We are looking for people who have previous experience in leadership (even at the college/school level), community building, organizing, are self-starters, and can lead a program on their own.
Passion for entrepreneurship and enabling others by building their capacity is a must.
Understanding and belief in the power of mentorship.
The ability to identify mentors, onboard them, conduct interviews, organize mentorship sessions,keeping it engaging and rewarding for both mentors and mentees is a must
The ability to manage multiple workstreams, different people, and keeping the morale high of everyone around is essential.
The more languages one can speak, read and write, the better it would be.
The ability to say more in a few words, create engaging content, through visuals, stories, examples,and case studies is essential.
The attitude of finishing the tasks/work, without worrying too much of the clock is desirable.
Post Graduate degree will be preferred.
People who are inquisitive, great at having a conversation and deriving insights, and able to moderate sessions with an ability to derive value for mentees, while keeping the mentor engaged and interested would be a great fit for this role.
Analytical ability and strategic thinking to work on problems like mentor-mentee matching,identifying key areas where mentorship is required by entrepreneurs would be essential for this role.
Selection Process
1) Shortlist applications on the basis of the profiles – 2 Days from the date of application
2) Response to a set of questions – 1 Day from the date of sharing the questions. (Day 3)
3) A short 30 minutes interview, followed by an assignment – Within 2 days (Day 4-5)
4) Final Interview for shortlisted applicants – Within 2 days (Day 6-7)
Experience : 3 – 6 Years
Annual Salary Range :
Rs. 4,50,000 – Rs. 7,50,000
