Specific Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and use knowledge of government procurement processes to create content for our business database
• Interact with Government officials orally and in writing to gather information on current and planned business opportunities
• Organize, analyze, and synthesize data using Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other internal content management tools
• Keep current on public sector procurement, contracting, and policy trends
• Participate in formal quality assurance reviews to ensure delivery of data quality
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely responses to customer research inquiries
• Support any other tasks and research associated requests, as needed / assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent computer and Internet research skills
• Be curious and inquisitive – get excited about connecting dots and finding business intelligence on opportunities
• Excellent client and personal relationship skills
• MinimumAssociates degree or equivalent experience in research or business development
• Knowledge within the Public Sector contracting marketplace highly desirable, preferably in procurement or business development
• Must be a team player: enthusiastic, hardworking and have a pleasant attitude.
• Patient - you will learn to work with employees globally, some whose first language is not English
• Capable of independently managing time and tasks to accomplish given objectives
