Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Mining Professional in both Opencast & Underground Mines Experience (25 years + experience) 

Multicultural experience ideally across Africa, South America & Australia

The candidate should have overseas experience and good contacts with the Consultants etc

The candidate would ideally be a General Manager / COO / Managing Directors  role,

Good management skill

Good in data analysis, presentation etc.  The world has moved towards automation etc and someone strong on data

People’s person.

The individual needs to be the CEO 2nd in command who can take over the entire workload on the technical side.

The ideal candidate would likely have the following qualities

Professionally Qualified Graduate Engineer / M.Sc Geologist with a PGDM / MBA holding 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate of competency.

Over 25 years in steering entire mining operations in any of the following Iron Ore/Bauxite  / Cement/ Construction materials mining Industries in India & internationally.

Proven capabilities in – Conducting surveys of potential mining zones / geographical topography and developing /implementing mining projects with judicious application of project management skills.

Acknowledged strengths in mining planning, designing & development of mines, mine facilities/ systems, equipment selection & deployment, drilling & blasting, mucking/ loading, hauling, surveying, quality management, construction of access roads, sump preparation, drainage systems, power supplies, mineral processing and compliance to safety rules & regulations.

Proficient in setting up effective liaison with various Ministries / Regulatory authorities to secure mandatory permissions/ clearances for hassle-free implementation of mining projects.
