Job Description

This role is a full-time position and will be located at our Gurgaon office and will be reporting into the Public Policy Director, India (Data Economy and Emerging Tech).

Job Responsibilities

• Execute Facebook's policy strategy, by establishing partnerships and collaborations with governmental, civil society, and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Facebook's thought leadership on technology policy to external stakeholders.
• Build campaigns, conduct events, and develop professional networks.
• Represent Facebook in meetings with key external stakeholders.
• Analyze policy developments, identify trends, and forecast policy futures.
• Provide feedback for new products and features.
• Understand and explain Facebook's products and architecture to external stakeholders.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, data science, journalism, law, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• 12+ years of public policy / policy advocacy experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an international technology policy environment.
• Experience in government relations.
