Required qualification, skills and experience:
- Professional qualification MSW or Graduate/post graduate in related fields
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in rural development sector or working with NGOs in various development schemes, preferably skills development programe.
- Language Proficient: Hindi,English and Local language
- The Candidates already working as Center Manager in Skills program are preferred.
Role:
- Support the Regional Head in development of business plan for Skills Initiatives in the region
- Manage overall centre operations including mobilization, training quality, assessment, placement, documentation, reporting and smooth operation of a training centre.
- Student enrollment for 100% capacity utilization of the center
- Nurture long term relationships with the government organizations and other funding agencies.
- Market development for retailing Skills Training at the district and block level
- Create awareness of the skills Program to target beneficiaries
- Keep abreast of the competitors’ business strategies and make appropriate changes in the business plan
- Structure the skills program starting from Community engagement – academics & operations - training- quality and assessment – certification – industry partnerships– post placement tracking & feedback
- Have regular feedback about the skill profile and performance of trainees from the Trainers and take corrective measures (if any) in forthcoming counseling sessions.
- Manage the allocated funds and resources to ensure maximum profitability for skills business
- Conduct technical evaluation of progress towards milestones and deliverables in Skills initiatives undertaken at the center
- Ensure targets, in terms of number & revenue, are met at center level
- Capacity building of the skills team at the center level
