Edu. Qualification: MSW/Masters in Rural Management

Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in skills, livelihoods or education sector

Duties and Accountabilities

• Represent NSDC at State level meetings and events.

• Ensure advocacy of skilling initiatives in the state and act as a strong interface between NSDC and various stakeholders – Industry Members, Training Partners, Assessors, contractors and local government bodies for various associations and projects in state for improving the existing processes and deliverables in the skill ecosystem.

• Provide capacity building to all major stake holders in the skilling eco system (SSDM team, TPs, District level SSDM team)

• Facilitate the convergence of NSQF alignment across state departments.

• Support the SSDM to undertake State skill gap studies

• Provide Technical assistance to SSDM in implementation of Central and State Government Scheme implementation

• Facilitate the SSDM and the SSC to set up processes and systems for assessment and certification under PMKVY and other Schemes.

• Support Implementation and Monitoring of PMKVY (CSCM), PMKK, NAPS, CSR funded schemes or any other centrally (MSDE / NSDC) funded/implemented schemes under NSDC

• Facilitate and lead the engagement with Elected Representatives at local level, support for various committees of Parliament, Legislative Assemblies, etc.

• Support SSDM/Industry/ SSC/TP/PMKK with knowledge and technical help for implementing NAPS in the State

• Assist the SSDM in disseminating the guidelines under MSDE Projects /schemes such as SANKALP, STRIVE, JSS,etc. for the successful roll out of the program

• Facilitate NSDA/SSDM/Standards Team to initiate state specific NSQF aligned job roles (QP/NoS/ Curriculum/Content etc.)

• Assist the NSDC CSR team to mobilize Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and industry contributions towards Skill India Mission

• Documentation of unique models for skilling and related activities, best practices & case studies

• Coordinate & support citizen engagement initiatives like rozgar melas, skill exhibitions, citizen feedback systems & other state driven or NSDC driven events & initiatives.

• Support NSDC & SSDM in conducting IndiaSkills / WorkdSkills competition

• Provide research and technical assistance and capture knowledge from the field through data analysis and impact assessment frameworks

• Provide policy support to states in formulation of institutions, departments and strategy/ policies/acts etc.
