Responsibilities:  

The responsibilities of the Senior PADM are as follows:

 Supervise:

  • Supervise a team of PADMs and Finance staff for awards under the oversight of this role
  • Ensure team members understand all applicable PATH policies and procedures, and PATH financial systems and are managing their respective budgets.
  • Ensure all compliances and have required understanding of local laws.
  • Guide team members in their career development needs as applicable

Award Management:

  • Award management and related activities for assigned projects and work closely with program teams.
  • Contribute to developing, negotiating, and managing project subordinate agreements.
  • Partner with other departments/functions such as, Office of Grants & Contracts and Legal Affairs
  • Track and ensure timely completion of project activities such as procurement, payments, and agreements.
  • Provides financial report, administrative support, and advice on compliances to all awards and proposals.
  • Develop relevant SOPs, templates, and policies for the smooth functioning of the project administration function.
  • Provide all financial, compliance and related information and advice to the program leadership and team.
  • Sub-recipient monitoring, compliances, internal control, and budget management.
  • Review all financial reports and take necessary actions.

Other Activities:

  • Set up and actively participate in the Grant Committee and Procurement Committee
  • Contribute to Quarterly Budget and Annual Budget process for all awards assigned to the role.
  • Undertake other assignments and/or responsibilities, time to time.

Required Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Qualified CA/MBA degree in finance or accounting
  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience in the management of Grants and Awards and Accounting in an international non-profit organization.
  • Worked in metrics organization structure with multiple stake holders
  • Demonstrated understanding of business needs
  • Managing staff of diverse skills and aptitude
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word and ERPs
  • Well-organized, independent and detail oriented with good follow-through skills
  • Excellent influencing skills, assertive, advance verbal, & written communication in English
  • Excellent Grants, Awards & Project Management skills with knowledge of accounting and compliances.
