Position: Senior Researcher

Requirements:
1. A PhD degree in anthropology, sociology, political science, women’s studies, development studies, public policy or a related discipline preferred. Candidates with relevant experience and masters-level training in the above disciplines will also be considered. Candidate should have substantial formal training in qualitative research methods.
2. Experience of leading and designing qualitative research with an intersectional feminist perspective, including in research methodology, data collection, and analysis 3. Experience of using research to inform policy advocacy will be an asset
4. Knowledge of feminist and gender research and evaluation tools and frameworks
5. Comprehensive understanding of young feminist organizing or experience in working with youth led feminist organizations or youth focussed feminist organizations will be an asset.
6. Excellent drafting skills and analytical thinking.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively while managing research teams
8. Ability to effectively plan, organize, monitor tasks and deliver outputs
9.
