Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Candidate having a Bachelor’s/Master degree in Agriculture/Rural Development/Social work with at least 3 yrs of experience in liaisoning with Government at the state level.
2. Experience in working on seeds, communities, NGOs, CSOs would be an added advantage.
3. Candidate should possess good writing skills and project management skills well versed with MS Office; knowledge of Gantt charts, Coordination and communication skills, etc.
4. The candidate should be self-driven in bringing in new ideas and working on policy pathways.
5. Candidates with experience of working in Odisha / West Bengal/ Karnataka states will be preferred

Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Languages: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Hindi and English is a must, Oriya/ Bengali is an advantage.

Job Description:

The Project Coordinator will be –

1. Liaisoning and Co-ordination with different stakeholders (Farmers, NGOs, State Departments, State Agriculture Universities, State Seed Corporations, regional centres of ICAR-NBPGR, ICAR-IISS, ICAR-IIMR etc) for development of roadmap and implementation of the work.
2. Working collaboratively with the partners from Odisha, West Bengal and Karnataka; Respective district and state administration on Policy related activities.
3. Planning, monitoring, capacity building and implementation of the project.
4. Supporting organizing of review meetings, action research, workshops and consultations at the district and state level.
5. Documentation and Report writing as per the project needs.
6. Organising and participating in various district, state and national level events.
