• Engage in development and tracking of program specific results framework and contribute to the overall institutional results management framework of MNCH+N programs.
• Develop and implement robust result based M&E framework consisting of regular monitoring and robust evaluation plan
• Conduct detailed analysis of programme monitoring data (HMIS/UPHMIS/RCH etc) and secondary data to get programmatic insights, get new ideas & understanding for reviewing existing strategies and program priorities.
• Support for programme development/ management and integrating programme learnings into new programmes.
• Support the development of programmes policies, strategic monitoring plans.
• Ensure the quality and relevance of the program monitoring and evaluation design, data collection sources and analytics.
• Develop concept note and study design to conduct operation research, implementation research, feasibility studies and evaluation.
• Provide regular support in conducting program monitoring, sampling, data collection, preparation of data collection tools, protocols, manuals, guidelines etc.
• Conduct Monthly data quality analysis and ensure the quality of routine programme monitoring data.
• Conduct program-specific monthly data analysis, identify gaps and provide regular feedback to program teams.
• Prepare monthly factsheets and presentations.
• Carry out other M&E related tasks requested by the reporting officer.

• PhD/ Master’s Degree in Public Health/ Statistics/ Demography/ Epidemiology/ Social Sciences/ or related field.

• At least 5-years’ experience in health sector specifically in monitoring and evaluation or 3 Year Experience with PhD in demography/Statistics/public health/ health management
• Demonstrated management of government data system, surveys and liaison with government

• 5 to 6 years of specific working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and Research Design

• Advanced statistical analysis using STATA, SPSS, R or other statistical software and projection packages and GIS packages
• Knowledge of government data system
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Knowledge of Maternal Health policies in India/UP RMNCHN
• Knowledge on routine health data system
• Knowledge of survey design and research methodologies (Quanti/Quali)
