Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be leading the Energy [Renewable Energy and Power] Sector team and will be responsible for formulating and executing an investor targeting and facilitation strategy for promoting and driving investments in the sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Strategize and lead the interactions with relevant stakeholders - Ministries, Departments, and other GoI/State offices
• Have deep analytical thinking and ability to formulate sub sector targeting and engagement strategy for identifying potential investors for the sector and facilitate their business plans, operations, issues.
• Build sector expertise and analyse the regulations and policies concerning the sector
• Address queries from interested investors and from the Ministries/Stakeholders
• Oversee timely completion of key deliverables and projects, Work on new projects and programmes for investment promotion in the sector
• Promote inter departmental collaborations
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members; Promote team growth and development

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate Degree from a premier institution in India or overseas
• At least 8 - 10 years of full-time work experience at a leading Corporate/Consulting firm/investment bank
• Experience of handling a team in the past
• Knowledge of Public Private Partnership and policies in India and globally
• Strong Communication, Leadership, and decision-making skills
• Experience in Renewable Energy/Power sector preferred
