Essential Job Functions
Digital Financial Services expertise
-
- Research client needs and context regarding adoption of Digital financial services, integrate those learnings in project plan and develop systems and processes to onboard low- income clients onto digital financial services platforms.
- Deep understanding of various channels of financial service providers to deliver Digital financial services – especially using the Business Correspondent and Agency channel and develop ideas on how to leverage those channels to deliver Digital financial services
Project Management

- Develop detailed project plans with associated milestones and work with internal and external personnel to ensure goals, timelines and quality parameters are achieved using Project Management tools
- Design pilot, scale-up and replication strategy
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on the progress of the projects
- Evaluate, hire and manage resources needed to support the project
- Create and manage budgets, and track progress against budgets
- Risk Management, and Documentation
- Proactively recognize and address concerns/ issues and use set communication protocols and methods to maintain an open, transparent and trusting relationship
- Prepare reporting documentation and lead regular stakeholder discussions with the partners, including but not limited to Monthly Updates and Quarterly Reports. Ensure partners are involved throughout the process to create shared ownership of deliverables.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Former experience in programme management, operational excellence, operational roles in programme design, programme implementation, and MEL (monitoring, evaluation, and learning).
- Keen interest in the space of digital financial inclusion, enablement of digital financial services, working with low-income communities, and diffusion of technological innovations to rural underserved areas.
- Entrepreneurial spirit requiring minimal supervision.
- Exploring operational roles in emerging opportunities of social entrepreneurship, social businesses, and emerging rural commerce.
- Hands on experience of working on Project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Compulsory writing, reading, and verbal communication skills in Marathi

Education and Experience
At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
Master’s degree, such as MBA or equivalent. Especially from premier organisations like EDII, XIMB, XISS, TISS, IRMA, IIFM, etc.
