ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Overall responsibility for the management of the project at the national level
  2. Coordinate activities between identified technical NGOs for psychosocial support and COVID. management
  3. Track deliverables of identified technical NGOs and troubleshoot challenges; Track the development of a mobile application for psychosocial support.
  4. Track the development of the training plan for provider training on COVID and ensure timely implementation of the training plan by the identified technical NGOs.
  5. Prepare weekly/ monthly and quarterly reports for the projects, in collaboration with the M&E officer, which are submitted to the donor
  6. Prepare project updates in the form of presentations, briefs, etc. which can be shared with donors, partners, government, and stakeholders.
  7. Track the timely completion of activities at the field level; support project management to make adjustments to strategies based on existing conditions.
  8. Document learnings and challenges and coordinate with other project staff  to disseminate them widely.
  9. Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor as per need of the program.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post Graduate/Graduate in medicine /public health/ with more than 8-10 years of experience in implementing health programs in communities. 
  • Familiarity with/having worked in community health programs is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the structures and functioning of the Indian health system is essential. 
  • Knowledge of basic M & E framework.
  • Knowledge of the development of mhealth/digital health applications and their testing is desirable.
  • Ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to difficult-to-reach areas (slums, tribal population, and marginalized women).

PREFERRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND FUNCTIONS

  • Computer proficiency with a high level of familiarity with MS Word, Excel, power point, etc., and database management programs.
  • Must be proficient in English. Having knowledge of the local language (Assamese, Oriya, or Kannda) would be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
