1. Manager, Curriculum and Content

Position Summary

Saarthi has demonstrated significant learning impact through its programme. It now aims to impact 1 lakh children annually by 2023. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to work with our Content and Curriculum team to achieve this goal. The person would work on creating high-quality Arithmetic learning content for children in primary and upper primary grades across low-income communities in India. Saarthi has an outcome-focused and high-performance culture. The role requires people with high ownership and a bias towards action attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

● Research, Plan, Design, and deliver the age-appropriate content in Arithmetic for Primary and Upper Primary grades

● Use technology for efficient iterations and designing of content

● Test the content by directly working with the stakeholders (students,mothers, field workers) in the field

● Use data of key metrics and indicators to strengthen and iterate the content

● Work across teams to deliver the content in an effective manner on the field.

Key Requirements:

● Post-Graduation/Graduation/Fellowship in Education or related fields is preferred

● 2+ experience of working with children as a teacher or as curriculum designer is preferred

● Strong ability to use technology/willingness to learn the use of technology for creating educational products/content

● Ability to work under pressure and be innovative with limited resources

● Self-motivated, high ownership and driven by Saarthi values

2. Manager, Operations

Key Responsibilities:

● Plan, Design and implement Saarthi’s program on field.

● Use technology for efficient iterations in program implementation

● Follow a data-driven approach to test and follow-up on program implementation.

● Use data of key metrics and indicators to strengthen and iterate the operational strategies.

● Work across teams in an effective manner for implementing program on field

Key Requirements:

● Post-Graduation/Graduation/Fellowship in Development Studies/Social work or related fields is preferred.

● 2+ experience of working in operations/program management.

● Strong ability to use technology/willingness to learn the use of technology.

● Have a data-driven approach and should be solution-oriented.

● Ability to work under pressure and be innovative with limited resources

● Self-motivated, high ownership and driven by Saarthi values

Compensation

Remuneration will be competitive with the Indian philanthropy pay scale and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
