About the role:
Desh ke Mentor (DKM) is Delhi Education Revolution’s latest initiative to build a community of mentors- young people from reputed colleges, professionals and entrepreneurs- who will guide students of 9-12th grades in the 1000+ schools across Delhi.
Alohomora is leading the design of this program and is also assessing skills that will be built in students through the mentorship they receive. This was launched on 10th October and the basic design of the program is in place.
This role is a program design and implementation role to lead controlled execution with 600+ mentors impacting 2500+ students directly. Your learnings from this batch will enable stronger program design for the overall Desh ke Mentor initiative with potential to be a revolutionary solution for supporting students in career and other critical decision making. You will have a team of associates to help with execution and will be engaging with diverse stakeholders from the project management team of DKM, to Delhi Govt.

Broad Areas of Responsibility:
1) Program Design: Conceptualize interventions for engaging and training mentors to
ensure effective learning for students.
2) Program Implementation: Manage a team to implement a controlled pilot with 600+
mentors as per design. Hold processes and ensure effective facilitation of learning for
mentors.
3) Documenting learning and impact: Analyze data, observe mentor-mentee experiences
and assess mentor and mentee learning to make further improvements to the program.
Share learnings with larger DKM team and within Alohomora to impact future programs.
4) Build relationships with partners: Be Alohomora’s representative in the core team of
DKM. Communicate and influence decision-making towards our mission. Ensure
Alohomora’s visibility among various stakeholders including but not limited to senior
government officials and education department authorities.
What we are looking for:
1. At least 2 years of experience working in the development sector with experience
working with multiple stakeholders.
2. Strong critical thinking and aptitude for designing learning interventions
3. Ability to manage a team and hold processes
4. Excellent problem solving and strategic thinking to navigate a complex and
sometimes uncertain environment
5. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to positively engage with diverse
profile of external stakeholders
6. Strong drive to work independently in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.
7. High openness and learning orientation to learn rapidly, adapt to changing
the course of actions, and willingness to take on multiple tasks during implementation.
Compensation Range: Rs. 42000-55000 per month based on prior relevant experience.
