Position: Program Manager

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Building team including coordinating for the hiring of personnel, training of the team, and developing an implementation plan with the team for the project.
2. Anchoring the research on social norms and narratives to develop an organizational understanding of GBV and women’s movement
3. Designing, developing, and testing of the Behaviour change communication tool/curriculum and toolkit
4. Supporting in collectivizing 3000 young men and women to use behavior change communication toolkit
5. Designing the journey of 20 community leaders for advocacy with relevant stakeholders on the issue of GBV, including identification and onboarding.
6. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Min. 4 to 5 years of experience working with a non-profit organization and leading programs focused on girls’ and women empowerment.
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, specifically government and civil society.
A hands-on person with a strong program management skill.
Strong written and oral communications skills in English and Hindi.
Strong report development, writing and editing skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (excel, PowerPoint, word etc.)
Demonstrate attention to details, ability to meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members.
Ability to make frequent field visits.
