Position: Finance Officer

Organization: PATH

Location: New Delhi

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for all statutory compliances of South Asia Hub countries.
  • Review finance process to strengthen internal control.
  • Review payment in Salesforce (Both HQ and India).
  • Regular reviews of SOPs and templates. Keep updating and ensure consistently used across all the countries of South Asia Hub.
  • Develop methodologies to ensure quality control and maintenance of supporting documentation in Business World (BW).
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current compliance standards and legislation.
  • Maintain copies of all contract/agreement/Purchase Order issued.
  • Work closely with IAS team to look for opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with HQ Legal team related to various contract and agreements
  • Liaise with Bank, Auditors, Lawyers, consultants on matter related to Tax and Accounting, etc.
  • Keep track of Sub recipient audit observations. Ensure regular update on this from PADM.
  • Keep track on Audit management tool and update regularly.
  • Ensure Monthly financial review and discuss with Asst controller.
  • Track Fixed Asset of PATH India office. Issue and maintain donation letter for assets donated.
  • Review Shared service LOE and projections for future period.
  • Prepare Quarterly financial from Local books of Account.
  • Support Asst controller in managing South Asia expansion related work and other new initiative.
  • Collaborate with HQ Legal/OGC on various MOU/CDA related matter.
  • Any other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
  • Anchor Overhead and Leadership budget.
  • Review Country management budget against expenditure.

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree or qualified CA with minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Knowledge of local laws like Companies Act, FCRA, Income-Tax, GST etc.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Well-organized and attention to details with good follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
