Position: Project Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

● Ensure that all deliverables in the project are delivered on-time, within scope and budget as per
the project plan
● Responsible for overall implementation and management of the project, which shall include team
recruitment, capacity building, planning, implementation of field activities as per work plans and
timelines, field monitoring, system design and updates (MIS, M&E, Reporting), submission of
reports to IDFC BANK LIMITED-CSR and coordination with all key stakes of the project
● Ensure sustainability of the programme through regular support visits to project villages,
technical interventions, periodic organization need-assessment surveys and Stakeholder
consultations in every crucial phase of the projects.
● Monitor and track progress of the project using appropriate tools and techniques
● Conduct periodic review meetings and allocation of work for the project team.
● Support and coordinate with the project team on a regular basis and ensure timely project
deliverables.
● Establishing direct contact with the Community to capture insights and trends to enable swift,
appropriate and innovative solutions to challenges faced by farmers
● Guiding and supporting Agri and enterprise experts and village coordinators for effective delivery
of the project activities.
● Manage sound relationships with funding partners with frequent interactions and appraise
progress as per the project plan.

Scope of work:
● Handling and managing 5 PVKs (Pashu Vikas Kendra) in the district
● Promote and effectively manage all PVK through appropriate linkage with ecosystem players
including identification of target groups like Livestock owner, Farmer groups. Accountable to
working with PVK Managers, Trainers, MIS ,AI workers and Gram sakhi.
● Promotion of FPOs in PVKs and state level federations of FPOs

● Ensure sustainability of program through regular supervision and monitoring,technical
interventions, Need assessment surveys,and stakeholder consultation in every stage of project
● Having a basic idea to achieve a cattle breeding target and input sale promotion.
● Establish direct contact with the community to understand the challenges and solutions.
● Responsible for reporting related to program progress,Finance and revenue model on regular
basis
● Ensure relations with Government authorities, IDFC,Vendor and other concerned with the
project
● Regular field visit
● Achieve physical targets individually for each PVK

Desired Experience & Skills
● Post graduate in Management, agriculture, MSW & social sciences or related field from reputed
institution and also graduate in Agricultural/Horticulture with reliable experience
● Minimum 5 years of experience working in the development & related sector, preferably in
Agriculture, allied and Livelihood domain programmes.
● The candidate should be able to communicate, read and write in English and the local language.
● Personal flexibility and high motivation to impact the team and farmer collectives.
● Good communication and excellent reporting skills in local language and English
● Proficient MS office skills & internet
● Proven ability to manage a project

Travelling requirement: This job involves regular travel within the Project area of Davangere district
(Karnataka)

Salary range- Commensurate with qualifications, experience and present CTC
