Position: Lead – RMLE - State Transformation Program

Location: Patna(Bihar)

Essential Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD/MPH/MBA or
• PhD Public Health & Epidemiology/ Biostatistics

Essential Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in in monitoring & evaluation of health care projects / programs
• Experience in implementing large scale research projects will be given additional weightage
• Experience in the government health system, NHM, RNTCP/NTEP,  would be preferable
• Candidates working in similar positions with state/ national/ international development agencies shall be preferred.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Design the framework, implement processes & protocols to carry out regular monitoring, scheduled evaluations and share learnings in consensus with Donors
2. Engage with the NTSU and the State teams and provide them with the right kind of inputs to take decisions.
3. Create a roadmap to assess the progress made against the set outputs, outcomes and impact and collect learnings from all our field work and drawing meaningful inferences, that would essentially feed back into the programs, to help improve the program.
4. Engage in designing innovative and creative methods of data collection and presentations by linking AMRIT/ other software to GOB portals
5. Collaborate with research organisations and other government departments to present data and help them strategically plan towards improvement of service delivery.
6. Explore new research opportunities with respect to tribal TB initiatives, help structure research studies and papers with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Write research papers to publish in peer reviewed national and international journals; as well as be able to present papers in national and international seminars
