Job Description

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support Samhita's mission and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives.
  • Work with the CEO to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management regarding key organizational and management matters.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic HR practices, recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of the organisation.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR team by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits.
  • Augmenting existing efforts of the organisation in managing the Formal Performance Management System (PMS), Ongoing PMS Monitoring & Year-Round Feedback system. Driving annual KRA's and Goals with the team leads.
  • Help us shape how every individual in our team experiences life at Samhita! You will play a key role in every step of their journey.
  • Build, amplify and make culture a key value proposition for recruitment and retention.
  • Integrate HR best practices to help enhance the HR function and which are required and appreciated by donors
  • Conduct Employee Satisfaction Surveys, analyse results to coach managers and leaders in action planning exercises.
  • Disseminate HR insights, manage all internal communication and plan engagement activities that can help teams and individuals work better.
  • Develop world class training and development programs for team Samhita.
  • Work with the leaders to develop policies and procedures that are people-friendly and are designed to help Samhita scale. Legal planning and compliance for HR and admin related matters
  • HR planning (short term as well as long term), budgeting and negotiating with donors and CEO
  • CHRO will also be responsible for driving the organisations administration and IT function
  • Design overall framework, process flow and policy for the admin and IT function

  • Stellar planning with the ability to prioritize amidst various / sometimes conflicting priorities. Adept at scoping out length and difficulty of tasks and projects and an ability to break down process steps.
  • You are an inspirational leader who can motivate, mentor and energize teams and clients
  • You have strong experience of working with senior leaders with the ability to generate and communicate unique value propositions.
  • You are passionate about building great teams and have 18+ years of experience of building a world-class team for a growing organization and minimum 5 years in leadership role.
