Position: Programme Manager-SMEs and Sustainability

To this end, the responsibility of CRB and the partner are as follows:

A.Partner: Technology (providing mature, configurable sustainability--reporting platform), Support Services for suppliers (providing capacity building analytics and partner ecosystem), Financing (Financial support to power this project)

CRB: Needs assessment of SMEs with regards to marketplace offerings/sustainability requirements; co-creation of an overall approach/communication method/content, profile of the suppliers/manufacturers being approached and the reason thereof, Introduction of partner to the relevant leadership of the prospective suppliers/manufacturers. Steering supplier/manufacturer relationship for onboarding on the marketplace and helping communicate the marketplace’s value proposition,

• CRB would like to engage you for the following activities of this project:
• Undertake a needs assessment with 150 – 200 SMEs
• Devise a strategy for engaging around 100 SMEs in the sectors of packaging (main focus), agro processing and apparels & textiles.
• Lead the SME engagement process.
• Provide assistance in liaising and coordinating with project partners for CRB’s deliverables on SME onboarding.

Professional Experience

• Experience of 5-8 years working with small and medium scale enterprises with a focus on marketing and capacity building for SMEs.
• Basic understanding of sustainability (environmental and social) with respect to SMEs
• Comfortable in engaging with a variety of stakeholders at different levels and good at building relationships. Contacts with SME networks would be advantageous
• Understanding of administrative requirements and procedures
