Position: Fundraising Associate

Organization: Jagriti Enterprise Centre

Position Summary:

The role will be primarily for supporting the Fund Raising for JECP – Project Capex, Project Programming and other related areas. The funding associate will be responsible for conducting research, proposal design and development, impact framework, etc. He/ She will be responsible for database development and management. He / She should be proactive. He/ She will manage stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

Research and potential partner database

1. Conduct regular research, compile and maintain a database of domestic & international organizations (international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations).

2. Focus area identification, trend mapping, continuous learning and development of the development sector, especially from a fundraising perspective.

3. Reporting with data, case studies, etc.

Proposal design and development

4. Creating different packages for different category of donors.

5. Write concept notes, project ideas and project proposals and ensure their timely submission.

6. Work with the marketing lead and help develop communications material for the organization such as brochure, website, annual report, posters, etc.

7. Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization.

Donor relationships

8. Maintain relationships with existing donors and partners and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization.

9. Building relationship with potential donors.

10. Regularly monitor donor websites and identify donor opportunities that have thematic alignment with the work of the organization.

11. External stakeholder management- reporting and monitoring and evaluation through the full project cycle

Experience / Skills:

4-5 years, post the Master's Degree in the development sector / financial sector / consulting or related areas. Excellent presentation and report writing skills.

Understanding of / Experience in the Development Sector, especially in Livelihood creation

Education:

Masters in Business / Economics / Development Sciences

CTC: 4 – 5 lakhs PA
