Position: Officer – Monitoring and Evaluation

Organization: Dr. Reddy’s Foundation

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the current system of data collection and reporting; ensure the integrity of data and efficiency of data collection and analysis. Conduct data quality assessments on a periodical basis.
  • Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data
  • Analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data and Summarizing findings
  • Developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements.  Design and Use dashboards and reports that team can access from MIS portal for review and learning purpose.
  • Disseminating evaluation findings and project results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle MIS in close coordination with program operation teams; Work with IT team to get the required support in managing the MIS platform.
  • Coordinate with external evaluation consultants, data auditors, M&E agencies to conduct surveys, data audits, and evaluation studies as per the need of the program and ensure the high-quality reports are generated by the service providers.
  • Training field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and providing ongoing coaching
  • Design and conduct periodical surveys as per the need of the program.
  • Give inputs to Program Lead in developing the data collection tools based on primary and secondary research of ecosystem.
  • Facilitate appropriate decision making based on the M&E system towards achieving program impact
  • Implement feedback mechanism for continuous improvement of M&E system

Qualification & Experience:

Essential:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work / Statistics/ Economics
  • Over 4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the social sector, including at least 3 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Working experience in taking part of impact evaluation studies, LQAS and/or Cohort measurement design

Preferred:

  • Knowledge in advanced statistics
  • Learnt anyone of the follwoing software packages –  SPSS / Stata / SAS / Epi Info/ CS Pro
  • Exposure of platforms built on the stack of .net and SQL server, and AWS cloud application.
  • Worked in agriculture programs

Skills & Competencies:
 

  • Ability to implement and continuously improvise a robust Management Information System
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage large volumes of data related to program interventions and channelize its analysis towards effective decision making by project lead and core team
  • Advanced MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint skills and basic IT skills
  • Ability to share the insights about program intervention based on analyzed data
  • Ability to train and coach field staff on M&E system.
  • Demonstrated ability to objectively analyze data and has an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member
  • Exhibits humility in managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated learning agility, pro-activeness and openness to embracing new technologies at work
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is essential.
