Job Description/ Responsibilities
- Techno-managerial support to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in Maternal Health programme with a focus on Midwifery Initiative
- Provide technical support to MH division ,States and UTs to develop an action plan for the Midwifery trainings
- Assist in Midwifery trainings , capacity building and data analysis work
- Coordinating Development partners, key stakeholders and state government counterparts to develop, implement and monitor Midwifery trainings (work plans,budgets, activities, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and prepare reports for the trainings ).
- Monitor closely identified NMTIs & SMTIs across States/Uts for the overall quality of the trainings
- Assist in developing technical reports and review of Midwifery guidelines and training manuals through field visits and dissemination of the same at the state/ district levels.
- To undertake periodic field visits to states and districts to review Midwifery programme implementation in the States/UTs.
- Identify implementation challenges and support states in charting appropriate solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve the organizational goal.
- Keep a track record of all relevant data and share quarterly evaluation report to WHO and MoHFW
Education Qualification/ Required Skills and Experience
- MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/MSW/Masters in social sciences /MSc Nursing/ Paramedical/ with Public Health postgraduate qualification with 7+ years of working experience in public health, out of which 2 years relevant experience in the management of RCH related programmes
- Age limit- Upper limit 45 years as on last date for receiving the application and having sound health to undertake extensive field visits
- Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programs at field level/ working in the strengthening of district-level health systems.
- Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & the ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.
Salary
Between INR 125,000 to 150,000 Per Month
