Roles and responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Management: Work with multiple stakeholders, including SCERT officials, DoE (Directorate of Education) officials, Education Minister’s office, Partner organizations, Mentor teachers, School Principals and Teachers

• Program Management: Set program goals and prepare program budget, define and evolve ownership areas of team members, regularly review progress and strategy to improve effectiveness of implementation

• Implementation Planning: Design and operationalize programs and projects that come under EMC’s umbrella, such as Field Project (Value Creation Project), Live Entrepreneur Interaction, teacher trainings, third party assessments/research

• Data Management: Create structures and build capacity within the team to collect implementation data and take data based decisions

Skills and Requirements:

• People skills - 5+ years of experience working collaboratively with govt stakeholders, preferably on large scale education programs

• Bias for action - Hands on with operations: willing to pilot and experiment with different strategies & interact with students and various stakeholders

• Strategic thinking and planning - Should be able to convert an idea into a plan implementable at a large scale

• Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment

• Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English
