Terms and conditions:

1. These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Bhubaneswar pay roll. Employment will be automatically terminated upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal Investigator. Also, the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.

2. AIIMS, BBSR deserves the right to terminate the fellowship with a prior notice of 1 month if performance in not satisfactory.

3. Age Concession: Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental candidates (including projects), and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experience and skilled persons.

4. Selected candidates with valid GATE score / NET- JRF* will be considered for enrolment to Ph.D programme subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

5. All other terms and conditions will be regulated by the guidelines as issued by LSRB & AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

Period of Appointment: 10 months or till PDC of the project whichever is earlier

Upper age limit: 28 years as on the date of interview

Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences and allied subjects/Physiology/Bio-Medical Sciences/Zoology/Biochemistry with at least 55% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations.

Desirable qualification: Valid GATE score / NET-JRF* (Eligibility criteria for admission to PhD programme)

Key Skills: Ability to measure vitals, perform ELISA, biochemical measurements etc. Ability to communicate in English, Hindi and Oriya

Proposed Salary: Fellowship of Rs. 35,960 consolidated per month. No annual increment

Core Responsibilities: 

 Recruitment of volunteers

 Acquisition of data on physiological variables

 Collect blood samples and biochemical estimations

 Assist in compilation and analysis of data
