KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Project Management
- Understand the core intent of the project, the inputs methodologies and out puts.
- Capable of identifying the training need of the team members and support in building the capacity, managing/generating the monthly MIS/report in coordination with Program Manager & function team.
- Liasoning with stakeholders (internal & external) (Govt and Non-Govt) and be able to implement the approved and planned activities.
- Accountable for the project, responsible for strategizing and smooth implementation of the project/task. Manage team to drive for high quality imputes, for achieving set goals., supervising the day-to-day activities of the project and ensuring the smooth functioning of the project and the performance matrix
- Ability to identify need and take actionable decisions to mitigate barriers
Collaboration with the District Government Officials like- District Collector, CEO ZP, DEO, DIET etc.;
- Consult, Design and execute Campaigns in collaboration with District and Block level officials of different departments.
- Plan, Organise and facilitate district and block level workshops for Teachers, HMs and Middle Managers.
- Maintain data repository for all relevant Data of Block and District to drive customised interventions
Team Management
- Lead a TEAM with of 24 fellows and 8 Program leaders. Build Capacity, support, guide, and mentor Team to assure self - development, strengthening their professional competencies to perform the job effetely and better.
- Demonstrate motivational and conflict management practices to boost the morale applying people-centric design approaches keeping in mind the culture and practices of the organisation.
- Capacity to identify need of team members and provide support to the team
- Develop and mobilise community resources, volunteers for larger goal and outcome-based results using effective volunteerism model.
Stakeholder Management & Public Relations
- Network and liaise with government and donor team. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and keep them in sync with planned key interventions.
- Build effective and efficient communication systems among all stakeholders
- Steer resource planning, induction, and capacity building sessions to enable increase efficiency of the team.
- Encourage for goal setting with providing timely reviews along with feedback through healthy discussions and appraisals as required
Support in overall BL requirements
- Participate in training and capacity building program as decided by the central team
- Leverage senior management and assist in decision making for the interventions to stay relevant
- Monitoring and Evaluation of the project at each level and analyse the findings.
- Gather knowledge on the best practices across the ecosystem and contextualise them to the project. Open minded to learn and share.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-graduate/Graduate in preferably Rural Management/ Social Work/ Development Studies/Education/ Social Sciences.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience, preferably from the education sector or similar.
- Experience of working with government officials and understanding of government ecosystem.
- Strong experience in any one or combinations of areas (Education/ Government Liasoning/ Leadership Development/ Change Management/ Counselling/ Coaching/ facilitation is preferred)
- Have experience of leading a team of youths for project implementation and outcome,
- Self-motivated and leadership quality.
- Experience and ability of Multitasking.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Hands on in MS Office, superior knowledge of pivot, charts etc
- Strong Communication skills in English& Hindi. Comfortable in Marathi will be an adding advantage.
- Can work independently and at the same time work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to dialogue, facilitate and strive for solutions of complex issues with professionals and staff
- Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders
- Analytical approach.
- Open to working in a highly ambiguous environment
- Demonstrate extraordinary rigour in completing the assignments
