Position: Sales Manager
Organization: The Just Change Trust
Location: Preferably full time in Gudalur. We will be happy to support exceptional candidates needing to operate from Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi or Coimbatore.
Key responsibilities:
1) Sales:
Generate new leads, follow up on leads generated (online and offline) and Develop a National Sales strategy for our NTFP products
2) Scale:
Help scale-out the current model in terms of revenue and communities engaged. Enable distribution models amongst producer and consumer groups
3) Distribution:
Develop a distributor network that is aligned with our values
4) Partnerships:
Maintain existing relationships with the likes of TRIFED and develop new Partnerships across India
5) Team:
Build and manage the Sales team for direct and Indirect Sales
6) Revenue:
Achieve annual revenue goals, ensure we are set up to be a sustainable organisation
7) Participate Marketing campaign:
a. Roadshows: Participate in roadshows of our partner organisations across India
b. Creative: Work with creative agencies to develop creatives for products and campaigns
c. Marketing campaign: Develop marketing campaigns and Social media strategy
8) Customer relationship Management:
Manager relations with key customers
Exposure that will be provided to selected candidate:
- The entire value chain (for some of the products – honey, coffee and tea )
- Understanding NTFP
- Interactions with the Adivasi community.
- Working of a For Profit Social Enterprise
Preferred experience
● Prior experience as a Sales Manager for a FMCG unit or equivalent
● Consistently delivered Sales targets for FMCG or equivalent products
● Conversant with Office productivity applications ( E-mail, Spreadsheets, order processing)
● Conversant with English & Hindi and any of the local languages (Tamil or Malayalam) might be an added advantage
