In this role, you will be responsible for:

● MEL Strategy and Programmatic Learning:
○ Anchoring the development of the MEL standard operating procedures at Madhi, updating
the processes as necessary, based on industry best practices
○ Supporting project verticals and sub-verticals to analyse field data and iterate
programmatic design based on field insights
○ Creating and maintaining internal project-wise data dashboards to support
programmatic learning and iteration
○ Providing regular updates on project progress against key metrics to the Organisational
Strategy Team

● Monitoring and Evaluation:
○ Anchoring the development of process and impact evaluation plans for all Madhi Projects
○ Supporting project verticals and sub-verticals to create appropriate mechanisms for
monitoring and evaluation during the programme design stages of each project
(including: tool creation and field processes)
○ Managing digital data collection and visualization tools, to provide real-time updates/
insights to the project vertical heads based on field data
○ Regularly reviewing data collection processes, including regular field visits and data
quality assessments, and adjust processes as needed (ie: conceptualising and
conducting internal process evaluations, as required)
○ Supporting respective team members to organize qualitative data collection activities
both internally and externally (ie- FGDs, discussion forums etc)

● Stakeholder Management:
○ Providing training support to all project team members and key partners in their role in
project monitoring and evaluation
○ Collaborating with external/internal stakeholders, as necessary, for finalising scopes of
work, reviewing survey design, conducting quality control of the project, scripting and
reviewing project reports
○ Collating/ preparing MEL reports related to Madhi Projects, presenting findings to
external stakeholders- as appropriate
○ Supporting relevant external and internal stakeholders with a large-scale RCT style
impact evaluation of our flagship projects

before
● Are highly planned, organised, methodical, meticulous and detail oriented
● Can storytell well, both verbally, in writing and visually; have proficiency in oral communication
in Tamil

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Remuneration: Rs. 6.5L - 7.8L
