Location: Raigarh (Chattisgarh), Murshidabad ( W.B) and Shahjahanpur (UP), Dehradun(Uttarakhand)
RESPONSIBILITY: covering 2-3 program districts (120-150 Learning Centers)
RANGE OF COMPENSATION: commensurate to Indian philanthropic
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(1) LC/Teacher/Community:
Responsible for Quality delivery (both operational and academic ) at LCs and Projects in the region ,ensuring Child and Teacher development:
• Undertake regular visits to villages / intervention areas/ undertake community meetings to support in better engagement of the community
• Run periodic classroom observation to understand quality of teaching learning and support supervisors and coordinators in quality improvement pursuits .
• Understand and address teacher challenges while attending and supporting in Monthly Teacher Meeting (MTM).
• Support in continuous improvement in Teacher Quality through onsite support , teacher trainings and study circles.
• Monitor alumni tracking and continuing Education of alumni girls along-with PNGO team.
(2) PNGO : Work along with PNGO team to ensure on time and high quality delivery:
• Engage with larger set of stakeholders in the village with PNGO team to create an enabling environment for girl child education.
• Support PNGO in LC selection and on-going quality maintenance at the LCs.
• Provide any other support to PNGO which is required for successful implementation of program in the field
(3) DONOR Engagement Support to PM :
• Support PM in coordinating Donor visits and ensure action on Donor feedback
• Provide timely , quality inputs for the donor reports and other donor queries by providing needed info, including case studies , photos etc… coordinating with the partner NGO
(4) MIS & DATA: Ensure Quality, Completeness and Timeliness of MIS data:
• Work with the PM in ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of MIS data sent by PNGOs through verification as per checklist.
• Provide inputs to HO on any data requirement in a timely manner.
• Assist PM and partner teams in usage of data / MIS reports in planning and for quality improvement.
(5) Other :
• Assist Training Deptt at HO on development of Training calendarand execution of trainings for teachers and supervisors for quality enhancement
• Coordinate with TOs in effective conduct of study circles to support teachers ‘ and supervisors as well as coordinators
Experience, Skills, and qualifications required :
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in education / social development / rural development and management or other relevant field.
• Between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience preferably working on an educational program
• Ability to undertake extensive travel in program areas ( 15-20 days in a month )
• Good knowledge of Hindi, Oriya, Bengali – written as well as verbal (based on applied location)
• Working knowledge of English
• Skill in coordination, support and facilitation
• Good Communication skills
