ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with clinic teams and community volunteers to generate awareness and promote behaviour change in health and nutrition
• Help build community participation for their health and well-being in BHS’s work areas
• Conceptualise trainings of the community volunteers and other community stakeholders, conduct these trainings with support of the regional and clinic teams
• Help unleash the full potential of community volunteers and health workers for promoting health and well-being of communities they serve
• Identify emerging needs of the community, develop and implement solutions based on their participation and through engagement with relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with partner organizations to strengthen and expand the community engagement

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

We are looking for a person with a Masters in Social Work/public health or development studies or a relevant field

 He/she should have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience of working with community-based health programs; and a proven record of bringing about a significant change. The candidate needs to be competent in Hindi and workable English. Knowledge of local dialect (Mewari or Waagdi) would be an added advantage. She should be open to make Udaipur a base with frequent travel as part of the role.

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS:

BHS is a field based non-profit organisation and its salary scales are comparable to professional, field-based development agencies. Depending on their qualification and relevant experience, further conversations with selected candidates on remuneration will be made in interview round.
