What's this job all about?
• This particular role involves working alongside the World Bank and Work India to use big data to understand how to improve job-seekers and employers experience on the Work India platform. The selected candidate will work under a team of Economists at the World Bank; and seamlessly integrate with Work India’s Data Science team.
• We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and work alongside both World Bank and Work India teams to 1) analyze existing job-seeker/employer behaviors on the platform and 2) enhance Work India’s job-seeker/employer experience through AB tests.
Main responsibilities:
● Collect, store, process, and support the analysis of large datasets
● Enable experimentation at scale by fully automating AB testing frameworks
● Build and analyze AB tests to help job-seekers find the right jobs; and employers find the right candidate.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Master degree (with 2+ years of experience) in data science or similar field
● Knowledge of applied statistics & machine learning techniques
● Experience with A/B testing
● Advanced SQL
● Experience in Python
● Knowledge of Big Data stack: Hadoop,
Added Skills & Qualifications:
● Experience with Data Science processes and technologies.
● Experience with A-B tests and machine learning
● Good communication skills
