Development and Justice Initiative (DAJI) works with refugees, migrants, and people at risk of statelessness. We aim to facilitate positive changes in the lives of these communities through mobilization, education, training, and working with government agencies, other civil society organizations, stakeholders, and networks. We especially focus on increasing the access of these communities to health and education services, providing legal aid intervention in cases of abuse and violence against women and children. 

DAJI is looking to appoint on urgent basis following personnel at our centre at Jaipur, Rajasthan:

Program Coordinator, Access to Health, COVID19 response for refugees

The applicant must have at least three years of experience in coordinating advocacy for inclusion of marginalised communities or must have worked with government agencies in the field of health, nutrition, child protection or education. The applicants must have excellent skills in written and oral communication in Hindi and English and should have experience of working with marginalised communities.  

Following will be the role and responsibilities of the additional staff:

1. Connecting project target beneficiaries to the medical facilities available. 

2. Coordinating with the Covid relief groups and facilities in Jaipur. 

3. Procurement of Medical equipment and educating community members on the use of equipment

4. Distribution of required medicine or other necessary items

5. Keeping a record of all the cases (Covid positive, negative, and also Vaccinated beneficiaries etc)

6. Documenting and reporting about the work done. 

7. Attending online meetings related to the project and preparing minutes of the meeting. 

8. Prepare narrative reports on a weekly/ monthly basis in Word and Excel sheets
