About the Role | Program Manager

The Program Manager is one of the key roles in Sattva, leading either large accounts or one or more projects. In this role, you will work closely with Sattva’s senior management, leading your team in designing and building solutions to enable high social impact on the ground. At Sattva we believe in outcome-orientation in everything we do. The Program Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading and owning the successful execution of one or more projects, on the dimensions of impact, customer success and experience, and on-time, on-budget and on-quality delivery.
• Growing existing relationships with clients, building relationships with new clients and support directly in sales; influence the client incrementally in the direction of higher impact, interacting with mid to senior level stakeholders on the client side.
• Building high performing teams by coaching and developing your team members; own the wellbeing and development of team members, including building a collaborative team culture and establishing people-related processes.
• Driving thought leadership by building, structuring and developing knowledge to share internally and externally, enhancing the positioning of Sattva in the ecosystem by demonstrating our values or expertise.
• Participating in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute towards effective and efficient functioning of the function.

Attributes We’re Looking For in the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for exceptional individuals who align with our mission of alleviating poverty in our lifetime and have the following profile:

Must haves: 

• 7+years of professional experience managing projects. 5+ years of experience in strategic advisory and/or program management roles, in the social sector.
• Prior experience in the consulting space working with government, funders, foundations, NGOs, and multilateral organizations and different external stakeholders is a big plus.
• Experience in managing and leading small to mid-sized teams.
• Proven experience in setting up strong program/project management practices for large initiatives covering project planning & reporting, budget management, resource planning.
