Heifer International India team is looking for a freelance Proposal Developer/ Grant Writer with the following competencies:

- Experience in working with Non-Profit sector organizations
- Extensive experience in working on rural development projects & initiatives
- Strong understanding of agriculture, livestock and poultry value chains in India
- In-depth understanding of small-scale producers' livelihood challenges, existing policy frameworks, and development models
- Knowledge of MSME’s and Farmer Producer
Organizations/ Companies - Structure, Roles, Benefits, and Operating models
- Ability to foresee and analyze opportunities, challenges, and risks in the project implementation model and suggest mitigation strategies for integration in the project framework.
- Strong writing and analytical skills
