Job Description
Responsible and accountable for handling the process and procurement of Medical Equipment spare parts, accessories, and maintenance contracts for the group and ensure compliance with the audit requirements as well as maintaining clean and proper documentation. Need to maintain the efficiency of the Sourcing in terms of reducing the cost, meeting the right product requirement, and increase product range percent under the green channel list.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Procurement - coordinating with respective stakeholders for the finalization of specifications, identification of right vendors, and product finalization based on the quality and commercial factors.

Portfolios

  • Maintenance Contracts, spare parts & medical equipment accessories and other medical equipment related service orders
  • Map the existing processes and policies and re-engineer it to develop the new framework with standard protocols to increase the effectiveness of the system.

Item standardization & Planning

  • o Standardize the specifications of the item and develop the green channel list.
  • o Guide the units and help them to plan for the yearly budget planning for the maintenance of the medical equipment.

Vendor Development & Management

  • o Liaison with vendors and manipulate them to control costs and drive service excellence to mitigate risks and increase value to the organization.
  • o Indigenous vendor development for good quality items at economical prices.
  • o Curtailment of existing vendor base and increase the ratio of products to vendor.
  • Green Channel List - Develop the list of rate contract items for the group and ensure the coverage of 70-75% of the annual requirement.
  • Imports - Liaison with customs in house agent for timely clearance of the imported spare parts and accessories.
  • Review & Reports - Responsible to do a periodic review of processes as per SOP of the respective functions and maintain the reports. A report of basic variance analysis of the important variables at regular time intervals to be maintained.
  • Take initiative on "cost control projects" as well as work on the "Continuous improvement process" to bring efficiency in operation.
  • Grievances Management - Handling and address all related grievances arise among the stakeholders

Required Candidate profile: Candidates with preferably 5-7 years (Handling procurement of Medical Equipment Spares, Accessories & Maintenance contracts) with MBA
